History
Circa 1999 – 2000: Nikken USA announced distributors will now be referred to as, “Wellness Consultants.” Thus began a new era in network marketing - a huge sigh of relief was heard across the fruited plain. It was short lived as, up from the ranks came a fearful tone, saying; “I’m a homemaker, I’m a teacher, I’m a truck driver, I’m a Network Marketer. I’m all of these things butso how should I act as a Wellness Consultant?”
Dr. Tom Kirchhofer, a chiropractor, said, “I have been training for over twenty years teaching people how to become one of these.” Classes began and workshops were created. People asked questions. There appeared on the horizon a forum called “Humans Being More” in which Dr. Tom began to make comments and answer questions. The popularity of the concept caught on but so did controversy and rancor among its members. The owner of the site disbanded his email community abruptly. A new forum cropped up immediately and Dr. Tom once again was answering tough health care questions. He soon was joined by a pre-eminent medical doctor, Lee Gresser, MD, a Nikken Gold Wellness Consultant from Baltimore, who sold his distributorship so he would be able to develop this educational website as an impartial 3rd party consultant. He provided a look at and answers to the questions from a different perspective – the medical and disease treatment side - and he and Dr. Tom became fast friends and colleagues. Their answers complemented each other.
Fast forward to 2004: Dr. Lee and Dr. Tom have now developed a service like no other. It is called Wellness Consultants Service and Support - WCSS and can be found on www.wcss.biz.
